So my sister is a young teen but I am so tired that everytime she speaks its like she has mouth diarrhea. Her friends and her are like that, they all talk to each other with insults. My mom seems to do nothing about it. But it is so disturbing to live with her and hear so much profanity :(

Your lil sis is the epitome of immature.
Truly mature people don't need to curse all the time.
Your mom should be doing more to encourage mature behavior.
Don't respond when your lil sis swears - just walk away if possible.

Get a jar and everytime anyone curses, they have to put a quarter in it. When the jar is full, use the money to buy something for the whole family, or give it to a charity. If she's honest, it will keep her broke.
You might also try recording her language so she can hear how nasty she is.

you know what, there is some truth in what "stinkypan" said... if you do not tackle the problem now, it might be too late later... it is difficult to change the mindset of a youngster, but its almost impossible to do that to an adult who already has a strong belief in his/her 'principles'...
you should continue advising her. yeah, you might need help from some elders :). never use force, it might turn worse...
only use counselling as a FINAL resort, and try to find a good counsellor that has got good repor. though she will hate the whole family for it, its for her own good :)

actually if she is a teen there is probably not much u can do if ur not her mom and she isnt living under ur house
try to get ur mother to talk 2 her about it
