Are they incapable of looking at gays as humans?

Do they think we will suddenly start granting animals the right to marry? (They don't even have the right to live a decent life before we kill them to satisfy our hunger for meat. )

Is it simply that they have no logical secular reasons for banning gay marriage, so they have to make up falicies?

And most of all, didn't Jesus say loving your neighbor was one of the most important commandments of all? That and loving him above all. Well if that's what Jesus would do, and you love Jesus, and want to follow his top 2 commandments, shouldn't you have a little compassion? Maybe it's not your cup of tea, maybe you even think its a sin, but who are you to judge? In what part of the bible does Jesus say: "Love your neighbor as yourself, except if they are gay."?

If you're right, they will go to hell, and God can punish them. Stop trying to play God.

Are there any Christians that agree with me?

It is an argument commonly used against gay marraige: "if we let gays marry, what's next? will people be allowed to marry their dogs?"

Also, I didn't mean love your neighbor as sex, I meant Christians should love gays as they love any other person. There should be no special treatment against them like there is today.

I don't know, but it has one upside: you can say, with all seriousness...

WHAT IS IT with Republicans and beastiality?

Say it out loud. With confidence. Breath deeply, close your eyes, and yell "WHAT IS IT with Republicans and beastiality?"

See now? Don't you feel better? I know I do!

All I have to say, is that I'd rather not take a communal shower with a dog that wants to have sex with me, or a man that wants to have sex with me.

Homosexuality rapes the civil lifestyle that society would like to prevail. There is simply no ability to know for sure who is and who's not. There are so many increasing numbers of those who used to be man, but now are "women" and vice-versa.

I think homosexuality is the incapability to deal with life as your parents created you. Actually I believe God created you, but even if you don't and you feel your parents did so with no divine intervention, than , well, that's why I said parents.

Anyways, seeing that one is incapable of living content with what package they were born with, or whether mutilation of said body and package is what is preferred, either way, it shows a defective mental health picture of which shows me, a physician that one is in need of mental health care and not bodily mutilation, nor destroying what is known as civil "norms", and tearing down "marriage" as it was sanctified by God.

This may not be a popular opinion with the gay crowd, but I present my answer as an alternate to eliminating the judeo-Christian standards upon which this society is based. Get Help, Not Surgery. We are born complete, and even if you dont' believe in god, believe this. Bodies supposedly evolved to reproduce and survive. By choosing to not be "hetero" you are obviously giving in to what would be considered the weaker tendancies of a species by not procreating. In summation, evolution would eliminate those who are not gay since they are using their minds to further a cause their natural bodies cannot provide.

Christians oppose gay marriage because the Bible states marriage is meant to be between a man and a woman. Most Christians I know do not view gays as inferior beings. Not all Christians are as horrible as everyone makes them out to be...

I don't know about the comparison to animals.

I'm not trying to Offend you in any way. I'm just giving you a Viewpoint that might help you to understand what some believe.

But you did mention that you should Love your Neighbor, and this is True. This was a Commandment, but not the only one given to us. There is a lot of information in the bible, and we can't just use just one point from it to live our life to the fullest under the commandments.
Keep in mind that I am not in ANY WAY trying to attack you or offend you or shun you for anything you belief or the way you live your life. Everyone has a choice, and It's our choice to decide what we belief and how we live.

Yes we need to love our neighbor but at the same time we don't want to be a follower of everything in the world. Jesus said in John 17:16 "they are no part of the world just as I am no part of the world.

Talking about Jesus's followers, it pointed out that they were under obligation to shun the spirit of the world—its aims, ambitions, and hopes, as well as its selfish ways.—1 John 2:15-17.

the point is, We want to Love our neighbor, but at the same time be careful in not associating oursleves in wrong doing. Even though we show love we in turn are keeping a distance and being no part of the world.

Some might ask What is the attitude of Christians toward those who have a history of homosexuality?

1 Cor. 6:9-11: “What, do you not know that that unrighteous persons will not inherit God's kingdom? Do not be misled.Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men kept for unnatural purposes, nor men who lie with men, nor theives, nor greedy persons, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit God’s kingdom. And yet that is what some of you were. But you have been washed clean, but you have been sanctified, but you have been declared righteous in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and with the spirit of our God"

Christians know that even deeply rooted wrong desires, including those that may have a genetic basis or that involve physical causes or environmental factors, are not insurmountable for persons who truly want to please God. Some people are by nature highly emotional. Perhaps in the past they gave free rein to fits of anger; but knowledge of God’s will, the desire to please him, and the help of his spirit enable them to develop self-control. A person may be an alcoholic, but, with proper motivation, he can refrain from drinking and thus avoid becoming a drunkard. Likewise, a person may feel strongly attracted to others of the same sex, but by heeding the counsel of God’s Word he can remain clean from homosexual practices. (See Ephesians 4:17-24.) God does not allow us to go on thinking that wrong conduct really makes no difference; he kindly but firmly warns us of the consequences and provides abundant help for those who want to “strip off the old personality with its practices, and clothe [themselves] with the new personality.”—Col. 3:9, 10

I think that it's Good to take into account different Ideas, and viewpoints on matters. There are many more things to say about the matter but I am going to end it here Due to not trying to write a Novel here. There are many useful points that can be used from the bible. Just keep in mind that I am not trying to Prove something to you, You asked why people think a certain way..... I just thought that this might Give you some understanding on how some (not everyone) view it.

It might have helped, it might not.
Have A Great day at least.

Because gays are not the same as real humans. The bible says that the Devil creates gays. Gays aren't even real people That is why they shouldn't have the same rights as us normal people.

Gay sex is wrong, just like beastiality. So it can all be lumped into the same thing. My God tells me what is right, and that is how it should be for all people, despite wha they want to feel. I don't care about the constitution and it's right. The bible was written before 1776. It is the only law that man should follow. So gays should be stoned to death in the middle of the town, just like the bible recommends....

I am now a Christan again,I was molested by a man when I was seven, took tears to even Begin to get over that, I forgive him, I don't hate Gays at all, Jesus want s us too have Love its his most important thing he came to teach, SO i LEAVE ALL OF EVERYTHING LIKE THAT UP TO GOD, ITS NOT UP TO ME TO JUDGE BUT i DO THINK THEY SHOULD LOCK UP PEOPLE WHO MOLEST SMALL CHILDREN FOR A VERY LONG TIME, AND KEEP UP WITH THEM WHEN THEY GET OUT,No people should not hurt gays at all. that's up to God were NOT to judge as if we do we will be judged, it doesn't matter if the subject is gays or whatever, we must do the best we can with our relationship with the Spirit of God is what I am concerned with not someones else s behavior, or I would be consumed with everyone else and not my eternal soul. that's whats important.

No, the censoring the Bible for the sake of political correctness is not the same as dehumanizing gays. They are no better or worse than anyone else, but sin IS sin whether you like it or not. Love is the best way, yes, but that doesn't mean we should lay down and say, "ok something is wrong but you can do it in front of our kids because you don't agree with God".

This is a new one, never heard that.

Dear, there is a difference between loving people and condoning sin. A Christian is to do the former, and not do the latter. You're right, God is the judge. But please don't ask Christians to accept that homosexuality is okay....according to the bible, it is not.

Yes, it is one of the most important Commandments. But, it didn't say "go have sex with your neighbor, no it doesn't matter that they've the same bodily parts as you"

And, I personally believe that people compare gay marriage with beastiality because they're like animals in bed...

But, I wouldn't know. I'm not Gay. ('less of course you mean happy :)))

I agree with some of that. First of all its a generalization that we all dont love gays. I have many gay friends and they are really nice to me and respect my faith.

However, it is sin. We love the person, hate the sin. We do not embrace a sinful lifestyle that has no intent to repent or change. All that said, thy should be loved. They deserve love, and will never listen to a CHristian wh practices otherwise.

Comprende?

I agree with you partially. Christians should love gays, it's God's word, but accepting what their are doing is not right. And they don't have to go to hell, forgiveness is always there if they want it.
