My 8-year-old sister comes up with some whacky stuff, it's absolutely normal. Kids have a hard time keepign a grasp on reality vs. fantasy, and I wouldn't have it any other way. That's what's so fun and innocent about kids.
Example, tonight we were watching an episode of Bewitched (Elizabeth Montgomery, the old one!) and my sister left the room b/c she said "I hate seeing them kiss, it makes me have to pee"

I think maybe they have a better grasp of "true reality" than we do.

Our "impractical" intuitive natures have been unlearned from us, from the core of our beings. I think kids are much more honest than adults about the things they see and hear and that adults are less apt to see these things because we have been "taught" that they are wild and silly and we no longer trust our natural instincts.

We force the natural intuitiveness out of our kids and it's sad for us all.
