why do people bad mouth one another cause of religious beliefs and political bs...........No i am an agnostic, and i don't vote...i can't believe in something i can't see,hear,touch,or smell...and i don't vote cause they all lie

Pray to have Faith. It's a free gift from God. All I can say for myself is that without Fatih, I don't know HOW I would be able to make it in this world we live in.

True, Politicians lie. So do lawyers. So do doctors. So do other normal, everyday people in all walks of life. Unfortunately. Nevertheless, if you live in the United States, then our government is built by the people, isn't it? And if you aren't going to vote, then you never have any right to complain about the outcome of the Country either. You had a chance to be one - perhaps just one, and a small minority, but still one - to say something by your vote and you declined the opportunity.

My mother doesn't bother to vote, either. She has her reasons, and I wouldn't say she is definitely wrong. However, the above are my takes on why I think one SHOULD vote, even if they feel reluctant to do so.

I will also state that I am pro-life, and as such, I am careful who I will vote for. There are websites that are helpful if you don't follow the candidates well, to show you who is morally upright and worth voting for. Unfortunately also, sometiems for certain offices, there are none! Such is the sad state of our Country.

People have very low self esteem when it comes to religion. For most, if you don't believe the way they believe then sorry, but your going to hell. It's sad, but it just shows that people are the ones who screw up "spirituality". Being spiritual doesn't mean you have to believe in a great power (personally I do), but it's men and woman who choose what to believe and what not to, so that leaves a huge door open for bigotry and racism. Sadly the church has been one of the most destructive forces the world has ever seen.

Also, yeah politicians lie. They are only looking to be re-elected...it's sad, but it's how it all works.

THOUGH THE ISLAMIC ALLAH WANTS MUSLIMS TO KILL ALL NON-MUSLIMS, MANY MUSLIMS ARE NOT DOING SO AT THIS MOMENT (WITH DISAPPOINTMENT FROM THE FUNDAMENTALIST ISLAMISTS) BECAUSE THEY ARE NOW ENJOYING THEMSELVES, SOME AFRAID OF REPRISALS. DON'T THINK FOR A MOMENT THAT MUSLIMS ARE PEACEFUL. IF THEY SEEM TO BE, THEY ARE ACTUALLY NON-PRACTICING MUSLIMS.

small minds cannot tolerate ambiguity... e.g. if my god is right my mind cannot accept yours as right too (monotheism helps that along)
also there is a psychological thing about strict father family system that would take about twelve pages to explain but basically the dominant or leading figure in our mind for the pertaining situation (god, the pres, yourself) is absolutely right with no room for debate that contradicts the main ideals.
