Sounds like you friend is a run-a-round type of a guy and you really don't need someone like that for a friend. Find new friends and dump this guy as a friend.

My personal experience with moving from the friendship to the relationship has been awesome and I'm now dating my ex-friend, future fiance:) However, you need to talk to this guy and find out what he exactly wants. Have a real heart to heart and find out if your friendship is worth taking it to that next level. It might be that, that closeness you feel you are mistaking for romance... or it could be the complete opposite and you two could be the best match possible... you just need to talk and be open and honest and put yourself out there... it is the only way you will find out the honest truth.

It depends on what you said after he told u that he has feelings for you.Did u tell him u had those type of feelings for him?If not then maybe he was embarrassed and hurt. You know how people act sometimes to get over someone, they focus their attention on someone else.U should sit down and talk with him explaining what his friendship means to u.If u feel he is lying to you about his feelings for you then maybe that should tell u the type of person he really is, and if u would want to continue the friendship.

Well I first figure out where your feelings lie? If you like this guy back I would ask him why he made out with another girl?? If not I would tell him that you love his friendship and want to work past his feelings for you.

I would just try and get through to him. I think that him being in love with you means he can't stay away from you forever.

I feel your pain, I have had a crush on my best friend, who is a guy, I am very confused around him because he doesn't have the same feelings for me, at least for I all I know. He's actractive and I haven't had the chance to tell him... I feel guilty that I have liked him more than a friend, when he sees me as a best friend.
Good Luck... Just talk to him, and not dig yourself into a hole.

Try to talk to him. Leave a message or email.
Tell him that you guys should just forget it ever happened. Don't end the great friendship just because of one mishap!
But I would really give the "love" thing more thought. Give him a month or two.

I'm assuming like you're maybe 15 - just do not make a big deal out of it. Let him do his thing and you do your thing all will be fine in a while. Plenty of guys in the universe.
