She's feeling low right now, and I want to be able to help her, but don't know how, she's not answering the phone much these days, she's totally grumpy, and sad, and she's not very talkative, I want to help her out! i want to cheer her up! what can I do?

The answer: you can't get her out of her low, BUT you can help her get through it.

My advice is to continue to try to be there for her, keep calling her, and keep checking tabs on her. Let her know that you love her and appreciate her. Ask her if there's anything you can do for her (and do it if at all possible -- if not, find someone who can!) My best all encompassing two word answer for you: love her.

If she's not answering the phone, go see her. Get her busy, take her to eat, to a movie, rent a comedy movie. Make her feel needed, tell her YOU need help with a problem, anything to get her mind off of herself (not being mean , this is personal experience )

Also, if she's on meds, make sure she took them.

just leave her alone for few days.You can't do anything right now.wait for the moment tat she can talk.You can cheer her up at that time.Right now, your try is in vain and it's not like helping but disturbing.Best of luck!!!
