Long story shortened... Moved across state for a guy I was dating, into HIS apartment. 3 weeks later, in his drunken ignorance, he broke up with me. I can't move out for almost a month so here I am still :( Anyways, this is the thing--- Everytime I leave other then to work, he asks me where am I going. Yes, I am in HIS home, however, he is my EX, not my daddy, so I don't feel I need to tell him anything. I have asked him when he was sober if this is what he wants, and he says yes, so what is it? Sometimes I tell him, other times I just go. He doesn't want to work things out (there was no real reason for the break up), and frankly, I don't want to get back together because he isn't overall as nice as I was lead to beleive. I'm getting out ASAP but until then, what do I say when he asks me things like that???

You should gather all your belongings and leave asap, ask your family for help, you are in a bad situation.

I would not suggest the "none of your business" route, just because that will usually turn in to another fight. However, I would definitely first come to an understanding with him (have "the talk"-sober) that you are leaving at such and such date, and that until then this is a roommate situation and unless he changes and you decide to work things out then he needs to refrain from asking you your daily rituals... etc. I would say instead of avoiding the situation you meet it head on and try to deal with it as adults, rather than drunken college students... Good luck!

It seems like he's keeping a tab on you, to see if you'll be meeting up with someone. You can tell him that it's none of his business, but if he's a violent drunk, then just keep saying that you're going to work, or doing shopping. Whether it's the truth or not!

"As you can see, I am going outside."

Then do it.

Seriously, if you have ANY money or a credit card, I'd seriously consider getting a room in one of those extended-stay residence hotels while you wait for your new place to be ready. Living with this drunken slob can't be healthy for you.

yeah it is none of his business and if he asks tell him your just going out. I was in the same situation and they want to have their cake and eat it too. It alright for them to move on but once you have its a different kettle of fish. Bide your time, hopefully you won't be there too much longer and just try and stay positive.
