LOL I can't believe how many people have answered this question.
Um, my guess would be mixing cheese flavor (but is it really cheese?!?) with lots of salt and fat/oil in order to enhance the taste, because that's what salt is supposed to do. And fats just make us think something tastes good. Yummmmy!
Hmm, now could someone please pass me a cheez-it?
Doh! Is this one of those viral advertising campaigns...'cause if it is it's probably working..... :P

I believe it's mostly cheese baked with some yeast along some other lightly added ingredients like salt, etc. It's all good stuff though. I want some right now...

it is a main ingrediant CHEEZ ITS!!! and a little mouse sits there runs around and puts all this cheese in the bowl makes them then a big bad person comes along and steels them and then they sellthem to people like you and me
