I didn't understand my parents until I got to be 21 and then I was amazed to find out how smart they got in the last few years.

ALOT...when I was young. And then I became a parent and I understood. Then my children did not understand me. And now they are parents. And I have come full circle and can see them learn what I had to learn and what my parents had to learn, I'm sure.
This is life...and what I can tell you is that everybody gets a turn. Remember that parents are learning at the same time you are. Usually people try very hard to do the right thing and want the best for thier children. But having children does not make you a perfect parent . You just have a child......boom. And then you have to decide what to do. You know only.. ....what you know. So if your parents are making mistakes...forgive them and try to do better for your own children. Try to remember what it is like to be young....because believe it or not...people forget. And if you can do that then each generation will have better parenting then the last. And you will get to see your grandchildren having the childhood you wished you had. And I'm sure this is way over your head right now....but I am telling you the truth. If you can get all this now....you'll be miles ahead of the game for the rest of your life. Bless you in the long road ahead....(from an old woman).

many. its somethings we learn as we get older (yes i know its corny but its true) at a young age we tend to feel rebellious and don't give a damn what our parents say but as time goes on you know they mean the best for us and you understand why they say thoses things repetitively.
