I am a 29 y/o 5'2", female, 160 lbs. I'm getting 20-22 points every day and count everything that I eat. I drink my water (usually around 60 ounces/day). I'm not exercising because I like sleeping way more than exercising. I know you are supposed to loose an average of 3 pounds per week your first few weeks but I've only lost 1.5 total, for the 3 weeks. What am I doing wrong? I'm not exercising, you can forget that. I have had better luck losing weight by not even watching what I'm eating. It's very discouraging. I could be eating junk food with these results!

I have done weight watchers before without exercise and lost a great deal. My sister has lost 120 pounds just counting, not exercising. I know it can be done. Stop judging me. I have wrist, elbow, knee and back trauma from exercising. Why would I want to reinjure myself?

Not exercising won't help. I understand how ya feel though! lol Talk to your group leader. They are very motivating and could probably give you the best tips. If I didn't have a whole family to cook for, I would do nutrisystem. I heard it's not easy because you stay hungry at first. But they give you all the food you need. No measuring, counting... I've known people who have done it and lost weight without exercising. Good luck. I'm on the weight loss boat right now too!

well yes, you could eat junk food and get the same results, because that's what you want. You are sabotaging your weight loss program. You are not ready to lose weight, otherwise NOTHING would stop you from sticking to the eating plan and EXERCISING...yes, that very nasty word for you. and you know exercise is important...EXERCISE and drinking at least 2 litres of water a day. Get real. Be honest with yourself. You are either ready for the major life change or you're not...If not, stop giving yourself a hard time, and go back to comfort eating.

I gained weight on the old weight watchers plan, everyone else was losing though. my problem came from the sodium levels in the food I was eating- causing me to retain water- since I wasn't used to eating so many lighter green veggies. unfortunately you will have to exercise, even if it is just a brisk short walk once a day, you need to do this to help your body flush away the sodium and water. can you try stair stepping if you have a mostly indoor type life? that way it could be there when you want to do it and available on bad weather days? good luck to you

Exercising really is crucial to losing weight. Cut your calorie intake to 1500-1800 a day, eat veggies and fruits, stay away from fats, oils, and sweets.
If you're so down on exercising, get one of those step-counter thingies and challenge yourself to up your steps by a thousand every two days- it's not easy!
Good luck, hun!

If you are not going to excerise, then you won't lose a whole lot just by following the points, maybe cut them in half then if you don't want to excerise. I don't know why you can't go for a 3 mile walk everyday? It is better than sleeping.

Well for starters you have a bad attitude.
You need to try exercising... To completely rule it out is a bad idea. You're a decent amount overweight, so even if you lost it all, you would need to tone up.
