my hair had a bad odor..... even after i wash it..... sometimes it gets so STRONG that even when someone is not up close to me.... they can still smell the bad odor.....i rub my scalp and try to wait for a bit for the smell from my shampoo and conditioner to get onto my scalp...
and EVEN AFTER I itch my head... the odor gets on my hand....
WHAT THE HECK IS IT????
i wash my HAIR everynight!!!!!!!
and then i sometimes sleep with my hair wet.... so then the smell will stay on my head... but in the morning... it starts smelling again... and my hair is all frizzy-.-
i also
put conditioner on my head
and dont wash it COMPLETLY
off so then
the smell
will stay
and it does
if i DONT MOVE around and sit for a while
BUT EITHER WAY IT COMES BACK AND IT SMELLS BAD!
Is there any kind of hair perfume or something
that would make my hair smell normal again?:,(
my hair used 2 smell good when i use thermasilk...it doesnt work as well as b4 now, smell comes back eventually

Herbal Essense leave in spray conditioner. You spray it in after your shower and it sits in. It smells great!

You need to vist a dermatologist ASAP. Often there can be problems with your scalp glands that produce too much of one thing, causing a funky odor. If you don't have the money then you can also simply try SAL3 bar soap shampoo. It kills the fungus that causes scalp odor.

For a few days stop straightening it, get a hair protectant from the heat or whatever. You're burning your hair, and next time turn the heat down. As wonderfully straight and scene you want to look, you don't want to lose your gorgeous locks. Now do you?

buy some kafoor from any indian/asian grocery store. mix its small quantity (one tablet of kafoor) in warm coconut oil (for one time use) and rub it on the scalp (hair roots). wash the hair after some time, some irritation may be possible.
dont perform this service more than twice a week.

Maybe you should go to the doctors. You may have a scalp infection of some sort..especially if it's itchy.
Hopefully not, but I'd get checked just to be sure.

What I do to make sure my hair doesnt smell bad is I spritz under and on top my my hair with perfume its lasts along time and smells great =)

well if you shower at night, DO NOT and i repeat, DO NOT put your hair up and go to sleep, it will smell like mildew, i know this from when i went to basic training, everyone slept with wet hair tied up, and every morning their heads stunk like mildew, not sure if you do that, but just checking!! be sure your hair is dry!

I'm not sure why your hair stinks but maybe you can ask a hair stylist at a haircut place and ask him or her about it. Don't be embarrased cause it's better than having your hair stink. Good Luck!

Go to the pharmacy and ask for DHS shampoo. It should help.
