Has to be a metal or other very hard tabletop with a sharp edge or a good corner. Tilt the bottle about 30 degrees from verticle and hit it. Other options are using a right sized key ring to pry it or a pair of pliers. And if your girlfriend is real tight she might help you out.

Its all about leverage. Table Tops are more difficult than a cigarette lighter or my favorite is a key on your key ring. Simply circle the top of the bottle snug against the cap with your index finger tucked into your thumb. Put the end of the key under the bottle top and use your finger as the fulcrum and key as the lever to pop it right off. There may be a little pain involved in your index finger....but hey no pain no gain !

Use a lighter and your fist to open the beer. Grab the bottle with your fist close to the top, and using the lighter as a lever, brace it against under the lid and pop it off.

choose a table or other surface with an acute edge, set the bottle's cap on the edge, so that it is hooked on the edge right where it is crimped closed. place the palm of your other hand on the bottle cap and push down hard (do not strike it!) when you ffel the cap bend pull the bottle down and away whlile maintaing your downward pressure on the cap and table.

do not do this on a surface that you care about, as the cap will bite into any surface less durable than steel.

I have a friend that use to open his Corona's with his teeth. Ouch! I suggest you try and master it with the edge of the table because there is no other way. By the way my friend lost to teeth. Good Luck!

You can use a lighter like the Bic kind not zippo. Also i believe that there was an article in maxim on how to do it with another bottle. Finally you can get the mick fanning sandals or shoes with the bottle opener under them

If you have a pair of needle nose pliers, that will take the caps off but you'll have to work it a bit.

If you don't have the pliers, you can get a bottle opener real cheap at any convenience store.

If you have no money, borrow one from a neighbor.

We used to call them church keys in the olden days. You can also apply a small wrench. A bottle opener or chuch key is available at almost any p;ace you shop or a swiss knife.
