Air travel is incredibly safe

I don't want to worry you more but there is a far larger chance that you/they would die in a car crash than in a plane crash

Wow. I still say you need to learn to use spell check. YIKES! At least proofread your question. Oh, crap, you'll report that, which is bull because I'm right and you're wrong.
But here is an answer: Flying is the safest way to travel. If this is the first time they've flown it is natural for you to worry. But once they arrive safely there and back you'll feel better.
See, how can you take offense to that.

Dont worry! Im a pilot ive been on many flights not one thing has even tried to go wrong. You have a better chance of being struck by lightning before you'd get in a crash.Air travel is the safest way to travel.Fact:If you flew every day it could be 30,000 years before you would crash

It will be ok. I'm sure your parents will be assuring you as well.

If you will make you feel better.. there's a comparison of accidents when flying vs. driving

A person is almost 7 times less likely to have an accident on a plane than driving. If you're not worried about them driving to places, you shouldn't worry about them flying. Be assured :)

It is ALWAYS worrisome when loved ones go off on long trips. The world is NOT 100% safe, but the flying part is probably the safest part of their journey.
Unfortunately, we are unable to keep loved ones or ourselves perfectly safe, we just have to do the best we can. Maybe you can get them to phone you when they get to their destination, that should help.
If you are like this about your parents, what are you going to be like when you have children of your own? Try to be completely rational about your thoughts and have some activity to try to take your mind off of it.

Pray; tell God your concerns and ask him to protect your mind from negative thoughts, then help take your mind off things by getting involved in something until they get there. Helping out someone else is a good idea.

If you are religious:

You can pray for their safety and protection. Put your worries in His hands and let Him take care of them.
