Drinking two bottles of wine on average per night, is a lot of wine and alcohol to consume. I would say the person has a problem with alcohol.

Two bottles a night? On average? Holy crap! I'd hate to see what a night on the high side of that average is like!

I'm sure I've drank what amounts to two bottles of wine a few times in my life, but I sure as heck was feeling like hell the next day!

The person you describe definitely has a problem and in all likelihood is an alcoholic.

But at least he or she is drinking wine, God's favorite beverage!

It depends...... if the person needs the wine on an almost daily basis, yes they might be an alcoholic.

You can be an alcoholic if you only drink on weekends also ..... if you NEED that alcohol to relax, enjoy yourself or what ever, that can be an alcoholic too.

Depends on there mental standings. If they get mad or upset or depressed when they dont have there wine, then yes they are an alcoholic, but if they dont really care weather or not they drink they are perfectly fine.

Although I would not suggest anyone to drink 1.5L of wine per night, your killing your liver and shriviling your brain.

Absolutely, that's a lot of wine. That person is getting pretty drunk every night. Definitely an alcoholic.

No,if its just at night they are not likely alcoholics. If they drink all hours of the day every day and cant seem to function without a drink, then they are alcoholics.

Yes. A person who 'needs' to drink and for whom drink is damaging their life and relationships, is an alcoholic.

Yes of course. If they stop drinking for three days and don't need
a drink , that would be much better. Drinking two glass a night
is considered OK.

I would think that anyone who drinks so much each night, that they can't legally drive, definitely has an alcohol problem.
