Ask him why he broke up with you in the first place. He might have cheated on you and may have not been willing to face the consequences.

The only thing I can tell you to do is communicate. You need to find out what was up with the first breakup and let him know how badly that hurt you. Also, that if that situation happens again he needs to know in no uncertain terms that you will not take him back, as you are not a horse at a petting zoo he can come ride whenever he feels like it, and leave at will. You need to communicate, communicate, communicate, because your healthe and the health of the relationship depends on it.
Good Luck.

mmm... afraid of commitment, if so, THAT ISN'T GOOD FOR YOU! Or just a jerk that wants a lay from a nice lady... seriously!... Don't get taken advantage of girl!
Maybe you should talk to him and let him know how you feel about this whole thing, and see what he has to tell you... you'll get a better idea of what's going on... but if you're really worried he's gonna do it again, keep your guard up and your eyes peeled... he may just not be worth your time girl!, Seriously!... someone that Truly cares for you, not just says that do, most likely would do something like that!, Talk to him!.. feel out your situation before you get hurt by this guy a 2nd time!...
Good Luck! ....

You need to have better communication with this guy. Find out from him why he broke up the 1st time. Maybe it had nothing to do with you. You have to find out now or the anxiety of wondering if it will happen again will eat you alive, make you paranoid, and then he may leave you for not trusting him.

You should really sit him down and talk to him. Don't let him go until he explains himself. He might have broken up with you for another girl because he didn't want to cheat on you. Or maybe he got scared that things were so perfect and he needed some space.

i cant say that i can help you personally because i haven't really had a boyfriend ever. but talk to him ask him what he wants in the future assuming a family. if he has no answer to that and if you want a family soon then you better break up with him because he's probably not the one for you since he's broke up with you before he probably will do it again. guarantee that. but not always he could of definitely change. but that's my advice.

There is no way to know why he dumped you, as you gave no in-depth information about him. People dump their lovers for many reasons: fear of the heavy relationship, fear of "settling down", they found someone else, they miss their buddies, they just want to be free and unattached, etc. If you want to know why he dumped you, then ASK HIM. If he won't give you a straight answer, then dump him.

He found another girl, that's why he broke up with you and then the new one broke up with him and he came back for a booty call. He'll do it again.
