You do NOT want to become an insomniac!! I am one and I can tell you it isn't so great and fabulous like those fake-insomniacs say it is.
But if you must because you have a term paper or something--that's called burning the midnight oil, not insomnia--try caffeine. Lots of black coffee and Snickers bars should do the trick.

Hi, I quit smoking about 3 and half weeks ago cold turkey and it definately messed with my sleep. I am still not sleeping well at night and waking really easily but I also have some anxiety, not related to quitting smoking though. I would suggest some chammomile tea before bed, a nice warm bath, soft music and if you have someone there that can rub your back that can help too. I have also had to resort to taking benedryl which is helping me get a little more sleep than usual. I can't really say how long it will last but it should taper off in the next few weeks. Hang in there, it's so worth it! Congrats!
