Go to the IRS immediately and tell them your problem. The lien is the least of your problems.
They can take you to court and put you in jail.
Do you know that Al Capone the famous gangster only went to jail for failure to pay his INCOME TAX?
Ask the IRS for a job, any job! Otherwise, McDonald's it is to stay out of jail!

All I know to do is contact a tax lawyer. Maybe they can get you a deferment?

Call them and explain your situation and see what they say. They really don't want to take you, they just want their money, so ask what to do. good luck.
