I would strongly recommend sticking with the traditional white shirt. In pictures, ivory or off white shirts look dingy or dirty. The shirt and your dress won't be so close together that anyone will notice that they are different, and diamond white is so close to white that it's almost impossible to tell. I managed a tuxedo shop for 5 years and had many a bride come to me afterward and thank me for my guidance...you don't want to look back on your pictures 10 years from now and wince at how bad the tuxes are!

I think the white shirt will be fine. I almost bought a diamond white dress and I was just going to have my groom wear white.

I wore diamond white and it never even crossed my mind that my husband had to pick a specific white colored shirt. He just wore what the tux shop gave him, a standard white shirt. It looked fine. There is no difference, besides who is looking at his shirt.

White will be fine. Ivory will be too dark.
I wore diamond white and my husband wore a regular white shirt. You can't tell in the pictures.
Congratulations!

I'd have him wear the color shirt to either
a) match your bouquet
b) bridesmaid dresses.
There are so many white colors. I think if you want to forgo my suggestions, bring the dress to a tux shop and try to match.

How about a very pale, pastel pearly color, like a very light pink or iced baby blue?
Best wishes,
Mandee
