I am about 150 lbs and i know that I should only be taking about 1800 calories per day..but you see, I work out and run and box..and im hungry alot!

Im active for about 90-120 mins a day..depends on what exercises im doing that day..and I am taking whey protein shakes.. 3 times a day. So with all that said, considering my 1200-1400 (shakes included), will being active for 90-120 mins a day by means of running, weight lifting, and boxing, will I gain muscle or lead me to a fit body and have no health problems due to my lower than needed calorie intake? As far as weight loss, it isnt really a concern, but id definitely want to burn that 5-10lbs of hidden fat. Thanks guys! :D

recommended daily calorie intake:
(your weight in lbs x 10) + your weight in lbs x 2

which is the same as (your weight in lbs x 12)

You may need more calories to fuel all that exercise. Try the 1800 and see.

Everybody is different but it sounds like you are taking in the right amount of calories. I believe the limit is 2000. I say if you are as active as you are and are hungry then eat. You dont want to starve youself. But if you arent losing the weight you want switch to lighter foods and cut back on the protein shakes because protien helps you build muscle and can be filling. Try power bars I love those things and they give me energy.

You should try to fit more calories within your workout.. because not having enough calories can make you sick and/or lead to health problems. So yea, try to fit more in, but it shouldnt be that bad.

i would say maybe 2200 calories, but just gradually increase how much your eating, dont just suddenly start eating more, you could get sick that way. i would also suggest asking your doctor.
