Why shouldn't I kill myslef?

You shouldn't kill yourself because:

You are important. Remeber that. Even if you think there is no one who loves you. you are WRONG. People care about you. You influence people every day weahther your stating what you think. Or if it's just a smile to a peer. You are important to people especially your family and friends. If you don't feel you are loved then tell epople that. Go to a counseler. Dont' think you aren't important. No, NEVER think you aren't important. there is a beautiful reason why you are here. God blew breath into YOU. For YOU to live your mother gave Birth to YOU not someone else. God made man, to live on this earth. If you kill yourself you are breaking God's heart. It took God 7 days to make who you are so are perfect in his image. If you feel like your down and that people make fun of remember that Jesus went through the same thing. He was crusified because people didn't believe what was true. You should not kill yourself. You should let go of all the grudges you have because if you do then hate is going to effect your heart, and that is not. good. Even if your not catholic,jewish, mormon or any of that. just pray. God loves you and that's what matters because It's his decision when you die not yours, but when God decideds that it's your time. remeber that you will be in a place much better than Earth. Just keep holding on.

Because it's selfish to those around you. It's damaging to your parents, the loss of a child is terrible no matter how old the child is. It hurts your friends and family. It hurts those who look up to you. It causes a domino effect of depression. It's not the answer.

Also if you believe in an afterlife, you'll be living in the mentality as when you died. You'll be desperate and sad, or maybe you'll continue to relive the moments of your suicide over and over again.

Suicide is also not 100% painless, things go wrong and you can have a very painful death even with a gun to the head. You end up shooting yourself damaging one section and end up living until you suffocate to death. Also suicide is not 100%, someone may find you and you'll live through it, never trusted again, or with a disability.

Be happy with what good is in your life. It could always be worse.

Whatever you are going through now will pass. It may seem like there is no light but if you look you will see it. If you die you can not change anything. Death is final. Start writing reasons why you should not kill yourself. Also call a help line, friend, family member and tell them what you are going through. The days will not always be dark.

i'm sure you know all about God's word and all that stuff but when you're depressed nothing else matters but that agonizing thought that just won't go away. i can't tell you not to kill yourself but you need to give yourself a chance to try to figure your problems out and see if things can't get better. meds and therapy have helped 1000's of people continue thier lives and manage to become happy and productive. whatever is wrong can be dealt with. i've tried a few times to end my life and am now trying the things i just mentioned to you. give yourself a chance at something different.

Man is not allowed by the Supreme God to kill a human being. You can't kill yourself, you are not a pig or a chicken, you are a man, a human being. Every man has a purpose on earth, so pray for spiritual guidance to know your vocation in life. May God bless you and keep you from harm. God cares, God loves you. He has appointed an angel to guard you. He created dogs to guard you. He gave you amazing mind to think and deal with complexities.. He created the sun to warm you, air for you to breathe, water to quench your thirst, trees to bear fruits for you, birds to sing melodies; seas offer the fish and mountains carry the fields, all for you from God, and many more, not to mention your parents, relatives, and friends. You must live to receive more of God's gifts. He gave you His word, and the Word was made flesh. God came down from His throne to save you. Please read the Holy Bible for enlightenment.

seriously dude, you need to find someone (girlfriend/boyfriend/friend/sibling) to spend time with. Someone that actually cares about you and what you are going through. That feeling may come back unexpectedly and at any time but if you live through something decent MAY happen (I don't know for sure.)
And ps. I see alot of **** about god on here, if you are into religion then live for that but if you aren't then you know that there is nothing for you after you commit suicide.

um children in the future,helping a friend or stranger at just the right moment, giving yourself a purpose like friend,mentor,or Gods voice.Mortal Sin comes to mind and your family will grieve you forever.And your life ceasing does not mean your legacy of how you died will not hurt your family and friends forever. Think of them, get help, and help others. that should be your legacy.

i have been in your place so many times...i've been depressed for about 12 years now. but i'm convinced that there's something better out there...i told myself that i couldn't do anything until i wa sure that i had looked in every corner of the universe to see if i could find it...and i did. God turned my life around...but i still deal with depression, but i never think of killing yself anymore.

Because God loves you, even if you don't love yourself. Things may seem really bad, I've been there, but if you have a bible, just open it and read about how much God loves you. John 16:27 For the Father himself loves me, because I love Him! He sent his only child to die on a cross, becuase we are all sinners! (John 3:16)There is no one on earth who is perfect, or even comes close, Only God!
