My friend wants to go out with a girl, the only problem another girl is obsessed with him. He doesn't want the obsessed one as much as the one he likes, But he doesn't want to break the obsessed one's heart.
If he says no, the obsessed one will go right to the one he likes and say cruel and bad stuff about him losing both chances. He wants to think of a way to not hurt the girl's feelings.... and still have a chance with the one he likes.
Also, If tries to stall not an option. Saying no not an option. Giving up not an option.
Any ideas?

Does the girl that he really likes know that he's interested? I think she should know before he does anything else. Then talk to the obsessed girl. But if she is as obsessed as you say she is, he's ultimately gonna have to be a bit cruel for her to get the message. Trust me, I've dealt with obsessed guys before, and I had to say some pretty cruel things to get them to leave me alone.

What's wrong with breaking her heart? If she really has an obsessive personality, it won't take her long to find a new person to follow around.
If it gets bad, you might try a restraining order.
Truthfully, if you just say "go away", that generally does the trick. Anything you say that makes it sound softer she will rationalize away.

Put on a mask, wait till she is walking somewhere at night. Run up to her and yell in a masked voice, " DONT F*CK WITH THAT DUDE ANYMORE"! Then slap her and run off into the night! It works eveytime!
