LOL. That's interesting. I've found myself wondering the same thing. In my case, he did actually like me. But, I have to agree that he either likes you or he likes what he feels. I say ask him.

Not necessarily, I hug all my friends who are female, especially my crush, but he may or may not like you. Is he extremely flirty? If he is he may be interested in you. I personally think that hugging girls is better, because then I know my friends are comfortable, and it's usually comforting. I find girs are way more understanding than guys, he may just be trying to get cozy instead of trying to be affectionate

Most of my guy friends do that. They even pick me up when they hug me. They think of me more like a sister though. Maybe you should look for other signs or even ask him?
