You need to leave more information. Is it really cold where you are ? There are so many variables it is almost impossible to diagnose the exact answer without actually being there checking things out in the car. Check the spark plus, air filter and fuel filter. how is the distributor and rotor ? Is the coil wire connected tightly ?

Sounds like fuel drainback to the tank..try cycling the key four or five times from off to run..without engaging the starter..this will prime the fuel system..then try to start....if this helps then you need to replace the fuel pump...the check valve has failed in it.

Other possibilities:
Corroded cables-clean the connections on the battery, the starter, and the ground
Starter going bad
Starter solenoid going

fords have always been bad pieces of junk, the starter is probobly failing the connection.They suck all American cars are try to get a Japanise car for youre next car!
