What does the word "trajectory" mean in the golf term?

In golf, trajectory means "launch angle"

A set of golf clubs has a series of increasing lofts from club to club.

A driver with 10 degree loft will create a low launch angle or trajectory.

At the other end of the set of golf clubs a wedge can have a loft of 52 degrees or higher. This creates a very high trajectory.

The object of the exercise and design of increasing degrees of loft in each club is that by launching the ball at a very low angle it goes farther.

Whereas by using the same swing force with a highly lofted club the ball will go very high and short.

So with a constant swing, golfers can figure out how far they can hit each club.

Trajectory is basically a physics term which is considered the flight of an object in the air. Consider a missile which is flying in the atmosphere fired by a gun- in Golf it is hit by the golf club and depending on the angle and the force of the club the trajectory maybe high or low.
