If you are exercising, and eat good food (not crappy stuff and sodas and junk), and get sufficient sleep, and are still "tired all the time" - you need to see a doctor. You could be anemic, have chronic fatigue syndrome, or it could be a symptom of other things as well.
Make an appointment.

The most essential thing to do for energy is eat a nutritious diet. Lots of fruits and vegetables, dairy products, protein, and all the things on the food wheel. In addition, you can use Royal Jelly which comes from Bees, you get it at the health food store, ginsing, & vitamin B-12. Good luck!

Hi there. Another way to look at your question is what can you avoid to make sure you have good energy levels. Avoid eating foods that rapidly digest into glucose (so-called "high glycemic foods"). Stuff like candy, cookies, soda etc - spike your insulin levels and can cause energy crashes. To address your question - focus on proteins, as these are stimulants -- and complex carbs such as oatmeal, rice, potatoes, vegetables, etc.

Are you B vitamin deficient ?
Many of the energy drinks are B vitamins and taurine, give 1 or 2 a try . . . they are a common energy vitamin.
