a nice easy question for this time of the morning.
i can't speak for every guy or your guy.
however ideal valentines gift would be my then current girlfriend gift wrapped ready and waiting for me. WOW what a present that would be!
what stop moaning! I can dream can't I (may be that is why i'm still single).
seriously what ever you get your guy, make it something that is practical. ornaments and flowers are genally not a good idea.
card is optional.
just get him something he will love or better still get some sexy underwear and wear it for him and just watch his eyes light up when you tell him that your his valentines gift! oh and if that is not enough try cooking him his favouriute meal pressuming you don't do like the rest of the sheep on valentinse and go out for dinner.
at the end of the day as long as you put a little though into what you get him and it is related to a hobby or interest of his then he will i'm sure love it!.
you know your guy, so use your imagination.

I nice romantic card would be a nice start ot a very romantic time of the year, this followed by an even more romantic chance to sit on the sofa next to him, and try to give him your ten best reasons for sending / handing the card to him. If you don't have a lovely romantic pet name for him, get that sorted out now, maybe write that name on the card, and don't forget to sign the card, so he gets some kind of idea what he is in for when you are at last together, knowing that greetings card is from his special lady.
Honey is ok I s'pose, Darling is nice too, but take it a big step further, and try a few modernisms on him. you never know what he is going to come up with, my wife is still my "Babe" after 42 years together, me to her, AW SHUCKS !!, you really wanna know? Ok, I am "Tony Love" and it always starts our ball Rollin'. It's great being in love isn't it, and I kept all the cards she has sent to me, Yes, they mean that much to me.
Yes we have children 11 of them, all away into their own homes now, and every one of them is in daily contact still, now that's what I call a life full of Love, and we are still in our middle years, so again I say, " A nice romantic card would be a lovely start to a lovely evening, GO FOR IT, xXx Tony M.....

Were not to big on valentines day, just do something simple, or just give us sex and were ok! We also like food and going out to a club or something!

Guys like to have chocolate just like girls but in a less girly way. Like give him candy in a cool hat that has his favorite team on it. Cologne is a good gift and it smells good. Video games, books, and other things that he may like with a card would be perfect.

Just want my girl to be there for me, don’t need presents to prove your love for someone, you should be able to see it in their eyes; I guess being their for each other is more important than anything else.
