The day of Christ's birth cannot be ascertained from the New testament, or from any other source. It was not Dec. 25, for certain. Luke 2:8-11 tells us that shepherds were in the fields at night at the time of His birth. The winters are very cold in that area, hence, they were passed under cover,so we can see that Dec. 25th is out of the picture, so winter is unlikely. Remember that God does not place importance on any ones birthday, but He does care about the day in which one dies. That is because when you die you either made a name for yourself with God, or, you did not. We certainly know on which day Jesus died, and He made Himself a great name before God......KECK

The exact date isn't in a Bible verse, but you can research it and figure pretty close, like 5 B.C. or so. It helps to look at the lineage of Jesus, and trace back from His parents to other men in the Old Testament whose lives can be dated. You could probably find more information in Bible commentaries, and see what the men who studied it have figured out.

It's not in verse in the Bible specifically.
Most say about 3 BC, and this is given due to some historical events spoken of about the time of his birth.
Also, it wasn't in December as the shepherds wouldn't have been tending flocks in that area at that time. The most common guesses have been either in the spring or fall.

We're not sure but prob a few years BC.
"Suggested years of Jesus'
birth and death based on
Gospel interpretations
c. 8 BC/BCE Birth (earliest)
c. 4 BC/BCE Herod's death
c. 6 AD/CE Birth (latest)
Quirinius' census
c. 26/27 Pilate governor
c. 27 Death (earliest)
c. 36 Death (latest)
c. 36/37 Pilate removed"
There is no verse that gives the year or anything definite to match up with.

They only tell you it was the fall of the year because the shepherds were outside with their flocks. It gets so cold they cannot survive out of doors at the end of December...it was 6 months after Elizabeth gave birth to John and he was born in the spring.John 1:14

Luke 1:30,31,34,35
Gal.4:4
Born in the month of Ethanim (sep-oct) 2bce

a careful reading of the description of the conditions which occurred up to the time of birth, and modern scientific calculations based on those conditions, and correcting for the errors of calculating the actual year of birth places the birth on april 17, 6 bce. the star of bethlehem, the planet jupiter, the star of the kings of judah, was in the specified position and followed the specified path which the three wise men followed from the east along the northern route to jerusalem, then down to bethlehem arriving late in the evening of april 17 6bce.
this was calculagted a few years ago using modern astronomical data as calculated for the date, time, and location specified in the biblical narrative. the wise men began their journey in september of 7 bce and arrived in bethlehem in april the following spring, it taking that many months to travel from where they started to the east around southern iraq. they went north to avoid the southern desert heat of winter, and returned along the southern route to avoid the summer heat in the norhtern desert,as well as to avoid returning to jerusalem and king herod's wrath during their journey back home. it also prevented herod finding about the birth before the child could be taken to safety, if that was what really happened. there is no official record of the slaughter of the innocents on record for the period and may have been a fabrication, as could much of the story of the birth of jesus.

"The real Jesus is often lost in Christmas celebrations. Why, there is no record that he ever even told the disciples his date of birth; nor is there any indication that his followers celebrated his birthday."

the bible no longer states when Jesus was born because the calender system we use now, the Gregorian Calender was not adopted until well after the birth of Jesus, it was not until 1582 that the Gregorian calender(the one we use now) was first adopted.
