yes I believe we could be at risk. No one in power is going to tell us the truth, that's for sure!

The problem with many of these hypothesis and conspiracy theories is the solid fact that cancer is an ancient disease. It's always been around, long before there were any chemical weapons or pollutants. The only reason we notice cancer more now is because people are surviving cancer, before the advent of modern medicine . . people died.
Please read more about the history of cancer:
American Cancer Society: The History of Cancer
http://www.cancer.org/docroot/CRI/content/CRI_2_6x_the_history_of_cancer_72.asp?sitearea=CRI
"Cancer has afflicted humans throughout recorded history. It is no surprise that from the dawn of history doctors have written about cancer. Some of the earliest evidence of cancer is found among fossilized bone tumors, human mummies in ancient Egypt, and ancient manuscripts. Bone remains of mummies have revealed growths suggestive of the bone cancer, osteosarcoma. In other cases, bony skull destruction as seen in cancer of the head and neck has been found.
Our oldest description of cancer (although the term cancer was not used) was discovered in Egypt and dates back to approximately 1600 B.C. The Edwin Smith Papyrus, or writing, describes 8 cases of tumors or ulcers of the breast that were treated by cauterization, with a tool called "the fire drill." The writing says about the disease, "There is no treatment."
So, no we are probably not creating cancer at all . . there appears to be something inherent in the human body that triggers many cancers without any environmental help. Take a good hard look at childhood cancer . . there are no easy answers about what causes it.

Wrong chemicals. Many of the chemicals which fill our foods, drinks, hygiene products, cars can cause cancer. Our whole society is awash with the stuff. Pesticides and industrial solvents/other agents will not stay put: look how DDT made it into polar bears. Forget about a few weapons, check out the supermarket.

Here are some facts:
In 1900 the number one leading cause of death were tuberculosis and bullets.
By the 1970's when Nixon declared the war on cancer in the US, it was 1 in 10 people.
Now, it's the number one death in children and is the number one killer. Everyone stands to be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime who are born under the age of three.
Cancer is second to oil in our world's GNP.
Pesticides are a multi billion dollar business and industrialism contribute to run off in our water, air, and food supply. One big toxic planet. Learn what's happening on the link, below:

I wouldn't say we're creating cancer. But I do buy a lot into the fact that the FDA and drug companies are in cahoots with one another and that natural, herbal remedies are out there/exist that could cure so many people's ailments if only it were allowed to be discussed and publicized.
