Yes, It is a good exercise to shape up your body. Do that everyday and you can have slimmer waist. Also try doing exercises using figure twister. It can also help slim down your waist and make your body well proportioned, your waist slimmer than usual. Do sit ups too for your stomach. Crunches are good exercises too

absolutely true..went down to singapore for visit with a friend, every house there's a hola hoop hang on every door.not only one its 3 hola hoop, would you believed, its for the begginers,medium and pro. its realy works for her .

Yeah it will at least a little bit if it is used often...you are doing physical activity and that is what really reduces your waist...

i don't know about just any hula hoop, but there is a weighted version that they use in gyms and BOY does it work!!
the additional weight reall works your core and afer just en minutes of hooping you feel like you've done crunches for days!!
it's a great toning exercise AND a low cardio workout.
i'm sure if you call alocal busy body fitness you can find them .

yes, but you have to use the one with the bumps on the inside. it hurts but you have to keep doing it, takes about 2 months for you to see a change. i used to use it, and it's a great way to trim hips. but if you;re too fat this won't work, it's for people who want to lose only like 2-3 inches around the waist and hips.

its not the hola hoop its self.. but the muscles you use when using one deow reduce fat...... and the movement of it...
and its just the excersize.....

it sure will help in slimming down your waist. My aunt purchase one awhile back and she said she lost some inches. And I actually purchase one, but haven't been as faithful with using it myself. So good luck.................
