Common sense tells me before so that is what I do...any dentist or dentistry students out there for this one? How many times a day should we floss? What do you think about Crest Pro Health?

It does not matter when you floss. You could floss in the car on the way to work/school. As long as you're flossing once a day, you are doing better than almost all patients. Crest Pro-Health toothpaste is approved by the ADA, so it does what it says it does. I have not seen anywhere where the Crest Pro-Health Rinse has been approved by the ADA, but it is still new, so research is probably still being done. Listerine is the only rinse approved by the ADA to kill bacteria and prevent gingivitis.

Well, I would have guessed BEFORE, as you do. But my dentist has been head of dentistry at a big medical school, now has his own practice, and ALWAYS does it AFTER cleaning them. So now that's what I do. And it makes some sense because the flossing always seems to bring out a bit of something that the brushing missed.

I do well to floss once a day. More power to you if you can do it more often. And incidentally, I really like the ribbon style floss as opposed to that thin "cutty" stuff. Don't know a thing about Crest Pro Health. It's marketing, that much is certain.

Flossing before brushing is best, because flossing loosens little bits of food that were stuck between your teeth, & brushing then leaves your mouth nice & fresh.

Some find that brushing loosens up some of the stuff between the teeth and flossing finishes the job. Right after flossing, they swish thoroughly with mouthwash. And say it feels really great!

So I guess it works both ways!!!

I floss BEFORE I brush, and that’s at least 3 times a day. I feel uncomfortable when I dont floss because stuffs especially meat between the teeth cause bad breath if not removed.

I haven't used Crest Pro Health.

i'm a dental hygiene student and we've been informed by skill of our professors that truly everyone could desire to floss till now brushing so which you're splendid. i assume there's a debate, which there consistently is, between publishers/ authors. i in my opinion desire to floss after brushing even though it does make a lot greater experience to floss first. you're able to desire to consistently brush, floss, brush in case you're worried. the main needed element however isn't once you floss yet which you floss as quickly as an afternoon.
