It seems like unlike white men, they don't get jealous of offended when they see a black woman dating a white man, but white men (not all, but a lot) seem to really mind black men dating white women. Why this difference? Or am I wrong, do some black men get mad or offended or jealous when they see a black woman with a white man? I am a white girl and I don't get mad when I see this, but sometimes in the past I did get kind of insecure about if white men still wanted white women.

Anyhow back to the poster:
Yes some black men do get upset when a black girl dates other races. Especially if she is pretty or has a lot going for herself, and even if he himself dates other races. There are men who normally wouldn't give you the time of day but once they see you with another race all of a sudden they are interested in you. A feeble attempt to reclaim one of theirs? I think this is true for people of all races, some people hold a double standard. I have known white men who dates black women but cringe when a white woman dates a black men. It is a sense of ownership that people think they have over individuals in there race.

An excellent question. It strikes me that no person should get angry at the sight of two people being together. But then of course this is not a perfect world in which We live. In answer to Your question the simple answer is "Yes" some Black Men react the same way as do some "White Men". The question was gender specific, and You did not allow for the fact that Women also exhibit clear signs of racial intolerance. Think about it for one or two minutes.

What!! I a young black men and not all black men get offended by seeing black women date guys of other race.Secondly why would you categories one race to your twisted point of view, No I don't get offend when black women date other guys from other race. I get offended when a person make a generalization about race based on ignorance!!

Yeah I get a little mad. I've dated my share of white women and Im not proud of it one bit now that I look back. But from a black woman's point of view, if black men venture out and date whites and other women of different races, then they might as well. But in the end we should stick inside of our race.

Its just racism, people think of black men as the guys who HAVE to be with a black girl instead of a white girl. These people are just having a tough time in life.

its because no matter how much some denys it, everyone has just a HINT of racism in them
even if its so small that you dont even think about it, there is ALWAYS some dislike for another race

I've seen it both ways. People can be jerks, no matter what your ethnicity is.
