I am a senior (male) in high school and I have a friend that is a junior in high school... we're pretty close, as in she trusts me to know end and feels infinitely comfortable around me (she thinks we go together like "peanut butter and jelly" and she feels that she can "tell me anything"). Now I've become increasingly interested in making her my girlfriend, but am worried that it'll make things awkward, and obviously fear rejection. She has a lot of guy friends and a lot of them turn out liking her, but she never dates them because they lack important turn ons for her (athleticism and affection). She hugs me everytime we say goodbye and I am the captain of my varsity baseball team (so her req. are met)... I'm wondering, to the ladies out there, if almost everything you found attractive in a guy was found in a close friend would you be willing / skeptical of pursuing a more serious relationship with him at the risk of making things wierd....

I would say no, but that is your decision. Remember this though, if you have sex with her, and she gets mad and her parents take you to court, if you have any college or college sports in mind-kiss em goodbye. The highest number of registered sex offenders now is guys just like you...having girlfriends under 18. Not worth it.

Hello! Well, first off, I am in a similar situation. Except I am in college, but my best guy friend and I are SO close and recently he has been a LOT more affectionate and he kissed me last week. I am head over heels for him and I have been for some time now. I find him attractive, plus obviously we click because we are best friends.

So, it seems to me that you have a 95% chance of a yes with her! Y'all seem like a really cute couple and if I were in her shoes and that's what she wants in a guy--I'm almost positive she'll be happy and say yes!

:) Good luck!!

Hard to say... if you're willing to lose the friendship if the relationship doesn't work, then go for it. Just think it through first...

Don't forget, even though people break up and say "let's still be friends", even if you were the best friends in the world before hand, that doesn't mean that you CAN still be friends.. it's hard. VERY hard. So if you can look yourself in the mirror and honestly say to your self that your life wouldn't change if this person weren't in it, then go on and go for her. Otherwise, weigh the pro's and con's, and GOOD LUCK!!

Dogs are the most popular. I have pet rats because they bond to you and they're easy to care for. Bees probably aren't a popular one, but as long as they make you happy, awesome! Maybe if you can't get a job working with them you can volunteer some extra time with them.
