Like any food, too much is not good. Did you hear about the woman who died as a result of drinking a lot of water on a radio show dare? Bananas are no different, so be moderate. If you're talking about 'per day' then you could probably eat several; but I would stretch them out throughout the day.
Most people like bananas to be yellow before eating them. I prefer them to have a lot of brown spots on the skin--they're sweeter that way. One way to speed up the ripening process is to put bananas in a paper bag with an apple; the apple gives off a gas that ripens other fruit.

i could eat bananas all day if allowed . . .
wanna hear something funny??
when i was a young child i had very low potassium in my body so the dr. told mom to feed me bananas every day....
YUMMY!! ESPECIALLY WITH PEANUT BUTTER.....
now im 35 years old and 3 years ago come May i had 13 blood clots taken out of my left leg....
dr. told me not to eat foods that are high in vit. K..
ok.. got to reading the things i could no longer enjoy.... what was the first thing on the list???
BANANAS!!
