ok, so theres this guy, and he's four years older than me, i no it may not seem like a big deal, but i thnk he might thnk it is when he finds out how old i am. I really like him, but i dont want to tell him because i dont want the friendship to be risked. Were sorta good friends, i wouldnt say best friends, but we are friends, and i want him to know that i like him, but i dont want to tell him. Also, how can i get him to like me or see if he already does? i see him looking at me as if hes in a daze sometimes, but idk. HELP PLEASE!!

well, a lot depends on age and maturity. for example, 14 and 18 will be a huge difference because you both would be too young to really settle in a relationship. however, 25 and 29 is not an issue at all.
and with guys, 99% of the population don't care about age much.

You didn't say the age's of both you. If he is older than 18 and your younger, you might want to wait till your 18 to talk to him about it. The highest number of registered sex offenders now is from 18-24 year old guys dating 16-17 year old girls and her parents finding out and putting them in jail. If your both older than 18, then all you can do is ask him.

the truth is always the best way to start, otherwise you could lose him even as a friend for good, age does not really matter if to people really like each other, just tell him that you didnt tell him your age cause you really like him, and was worried that if u told him he would no longer talk to you, and if he does like you, then he will respect you for telling him the truth, well good luck and i hope you get your man.

Just be honest. Flirt and tease and make him fall in love with you; all women have that ability if they use the confidence God gave them. My boyfriend is 4 years older than me (I'm 19 he's 23), and it's never caused a problem.

if your a younger girl chances are he does like you. men LOVE younger women....but if your under 18 and he is over then you might want to wait awhile before putting your feelings out there so that way he doesn't get into trouble for it. mainly i'd say to get him though is to not act immature. act like a lady who knows how to handle her business and emotions (but not stuck up).

There's really no way to be sure unless you ask him. Sorry, but that's how it is. because you didn't say how old you were, I can't give my opinion on whether I think it's to much; but if you're 17+, you're probably ok. Just don't be pressured to drink....
