In order for something to be successful and long term, it can't be a 'diet' in the popular sense of the word.
You need to eat a natural, balanced diet including lots of fruits and vegetables, whole grains, dairy etc. You need to drink lots of water. And you need to exercise at least 30 minutes a day, even if it is only walking.
That is all you need to do to live a long, healthy life. It isn't complicated. What IS complicated, is knowing how to avoid what you shouldn't be doing. Society is set up for us to fail. Fast food is everywhere, as are 'diet' foods that seem healthy but are full of dangerous chemicals. Our jobs and our dependence on cars don't encourage daily activity, nor does the wide spread popularity of television and video games.
But if you know what's good for you, and respect your body, and if you arm yourself with information about why today's fast food life style is damaging, then you will be fine!

Weight Watchers. It has truly helped me to reassess portion size and the quality of the things I eat. You learn not to waste "points" on foods that are empty. If you go to the meetings, you'll also have a supportive environment and new friends who share the same struggles. I lost 30 pounds just using my mom's old stuff from the nineties (although they have some new stuff out now and they say people who come to meetings have much better success than those who go it alone). My favorite aspects are that you don't have to deprive yourself of anything. If you need a piece of chocolate cake, go ahead and have one. Then just compensate with lower point foods. Or if you have a bad day, it's not a disaster. You can just make it up the next day. Exercise requirments are realistic and doable. It's great and a real lifestyle change instead of a "diet."

Slim Fast has really worked for me--been doing it for a couple of years, and have kept the weight off. Some people hate Slim Fast, but I think the Cappuccino Shake and the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough bar are great.
When I don't have Slim Fast (or want to take a break) I do the Special K thing (except with Total Raisin Bran). I drink water, V8, OJ, and herbal teas. My dinners consist of more veggies than anything else.
As long as you drink enough water, and eat lots of fruits and veggies--you won't be so hungry. Fruit also helps if you have a craving for sweets.
I've also done the frozen dinner thing with a couple of brands. Some of them aren't bad--and you do get to have some meat and pasta or potato--but not too much. January most of them are usually on sale--as people want to lose weight after the holidays. Check them out.
Don't forget that fish (but not shell fish) is very good for you, and has many less calories than meat. Just don't fry it (or anything else, when trying to lose weight). Broil fish, chicken breasts--that way it has the least calories.

The very first thing is a positive mind, and a real good reason to do the diet. Then never eat after 6:00pm and if u most, let it be a fruit. Get a health pyramid picture and follow it as good as you can. You have to do exercise, at least walk 15 min. a day. Try to get something natural to help you with fat, and avoid eating too much fat, and sugar. I got some good products that could help you, let me know if you want to know about it.

Cut one type of food product from your regular diet. Just don't buy the product anymore. I didn't eat Pizza for like 10 years. I gave up whole milk for 2% now I only drink skim. Or no candy. I used to be good at never eating candy.....I have some now and then. But all thats supposed to add up over the year .... and yes it does.

Hey guys!
Listen to this!
If you haven’t heard of Hoodia yet, you soon will because it is being touted as the new miracle supplement for safe, effective weight loss. Hoodia gordonii, (Hoodia) is the botanical name for a cactus like plant that grows in Southern Africa. Scientists have recently isolated several compounds in this amazing plant that are responsible for dramatic weight loss. This all-natural appetite suppressant is also being applauded for containing no dangerous stimulants that caused adverse side effects associated with weight loss products of the last decade.
"I secretly bought products (27 different ones) from their sites just like you will. After testing them extensively however, only 3 of the companies sell hoodia that is worth paying for...the HoodiThin hoodia liquid is easiest to swallow and digest, starts working in 15 minutes."
Visit this website and order!
