Christians go to church, Muslims to the Mosque, Hindus to the Temple, Buddhists to the Cupola or Temple, Shintos to the shrine, and Jews to a synagogue.

If they went to a church they would be christian!

Judaism is mainly practiced in the home around the dining room table. The synagogue is a community center used for religious services as well as a school, activity center, homeless shelter, or for any type of gathering.

Other people call their houses of worship other things, such as "Temple."
