Not necessarily, a Christian could be prideful though. It's possible. You're asking for a sweeping generalization, which is irrational. Many of you athiests talk of rationality right? So be rational...you just have a different opinion.
I could easily say the same thing about athiests. The athiests that I've encountered in Yahoo!Answers tend to act as if they were superior in my mind. They are always taunting and name-calling.
Calling Christians foolish, and baiting them with silly questions like this one. Does that mean all Athiests feel that they are superior?

Just looking at the answers so far, I would say yes. But then again, I've often felt there was an air of smugness about some born-agains, as if they're saying "I'm going to heaven and you're not... Nyah!" But if believing what they believe makes them feel better, it's OK with me. I just wish they'd stop yarking in my face about it.

"When I say ... "I am a Christian,"
I'm not shouting, "I'm clean livin',"
I'm whispering, "I was lost,"
Now I'm found and forgiven.
When I say ... "I am a Christian,"
I don't speak of this with pride,
I'm confessing that I stumble
and need CHRIST to be my guide.
When I say ... "I am a Christian,"
I'm not trying to be strong,
I'm professing that I'm weak
and need HIS strength to carry on.
When I say ... "I am a Christian,"
I'm not bragging of success,
I'm admitting I have failed
and need GOD to clean my mess.
When I say ... "I am a Christian,"
I'm not claiming to be perfect,
My flaws are far too visible
but, GOD believes I'm worth it.
When I say ... "I am a Christian,"
I still feel the sting of pain,
I have my share of heartaches,
So I call upon HIS name.
When I say ... "I am a Christian,"
I'm not "holier than thou",
I'm just a simple sinner
who received GOD'S good grace, somehow"

no Christians don't feel like their superior. Trust me I am one of them! actually, we don't get ENOUGH attention. the world (secular ways) expects us to be perfect little Barbie and Ken dolls, but we're not perfect. far from it! we are trying to become more like Jesus. To be kind, gentle, truthful, and to renew our minds, have the holy spirit in us, and to go to Heaven when we die. But you wouldn't know that would you?

Each religion has groups that do. The christian group is basically all of the evangelical *******. You have to take into consideration LOTS of people in every religion feel that their religion is "the one and only" religion. The bible says I am the one and only god and stuff like that.

god didn't make man--man made god.

No, the basis of Christianity is to be humble. Whether or not people actually follow this is up their choice, whether right or wrong.

Anyone that thinks they know something that nobody else knows also thinks they are superior.

No, we are not better. We are just better off.

We do not have to be enslaved to harmful things.
We have many blessings from God.
We know what it means to be loved unconditionaly.
