alright i am going to my girlfriends winter formal for 8th grade. its gonna be fun except for one thing....who pays for dinner and stuff. she bought the ticket. i know its her dance but its like polite for the man to pay.. help its saturday

that way u show her that u see her as equal but also that ur not a cheapass

If it's her dance then she should pay for everything, except dinner. You can at least do that so all the cost wouldn't be on her. If that still makes you feel a little uncomfortable, then go Dutch and pay for your half for everything.

If she bought the tickets, at least OFFER to pay for dinner. There's always a chance that she's already planning to pay. Offer, and if nothing else, split it.

Usually its the guy who pays, but you can also just pay for yourself and she pay for herself i wouldn't advise making her pay for it all though.
