You can buy tea bags that are meant for "iced tea". Also, you can brew it hot and then let it cool off.

Don't put tea or coffee, even, in a pot and boil the water with it in it. Boil the water and pour it over the tea. Since the water starts cooling below boiling immediately (although still too hot for humans) it will be OK for the tea. Then, if you want it cold, pour over ice.
Many food items do need the heat tho, to release their beneficial properties. Some of tomatoes most valuable aren't, until it is cooked.

You would brew the tea hot then ice it. For green tea, after letting the boiling water cool for ten minutes, then you can brew tea then just ice it.

I trick I learn to keep the health benefits of tea, it to place the tea bag into room temp water. This makes great ice tea, and you don't have the cloudiness in the tea.

sure, brew it in a cup with 2 tea bags for the conventional time then pour it over ice in a tumbler. you like it more desirable to off set the melting ice yet you do no longer desire to brew it longer by way of fact it may replace into bitter.

Maybe you could put it out in the sun like you would any sun tea? I've always just brewed it in the refrigerator , it takes time but it's good.

I have to suggest the solar method as well. Of course if time is not a factor, you can steep the tea in cool water, however heat causes tea to be more soluble in water.

Brew your tea double strength, then add ice. It's that simple.
