Baby Oil. Rub it in your hands till warm. Rub it all over where the cradle cap is. Take a soft bristle baby brush and softly use a circular motion, then comb through. BOTH my girls had bad cases of this. Good Luck!

This is common. Here's what I did: bathe baby before bed time and apply some olive oil and leave it on over night so it softens the cradle cap. The next morning just gently scrape it off with a comb or finger nail - GENTLY!! it will come off no problem. No need to buy expensive treatments. I did this once and it never came back.

I had this problem with my daughter This is what worked best for me use baby oil and a comb .Brush out your son's hair lightly the baby oil will help pull it up .Then wash out. You will have to do this for about a week or so depending on how bad the cradle cap is . Best of luck

When my daughter was born, she had cradle cap really bad. I asked the doctor, and he said to use Head and Shoulders and rub it into her scalp with a soft brush. After two baths, her head was clear and the cradle cap has not come back. Comes in handy when I shave my husband's head, too!!

When our baby had it I would rub baby oil in his hair and comb it through then bathe his body. When I was done with his body I would shampoo his hair and brush and comb his hair with the shampoo in it. I did this (at least his head, not the whole bath) every day twice a day when it was bad and it cleared up in a few days. Good luck and no worries, it's a good time to wear a hat.

If the baby has very little hair you can use vaseline. Apply a good amount and let sit for about 15 minutes. Repeat a couple times a week. You will not be able to make all of it go away but this helps!

I was advised against using baby oil and what really worked for us were those little soft scrubby sponges from the hospital ( they sent us home with several). We just gently scrubbed the area during bath time and it was gone in no time. Hope that helps!

I've heard that there is a homeopathic remedy for cradle cap. Check at your natural food store.

BABY OIL! !!!!!

Rub it on your finger tips and massage it into the scalp.
Then use a soft baby brush to comb the hair down, and remove the dry flakes.
