Trying to avoid things based around "Lucky" and "Casino's type items". I know this is a tough one but any creative ideas would be helpful. Using the gift as a place card holder is an option but not required.

Skip the favors. People really don't care that much. You spend lots of money on it, and they throw them away immediately after walking out the door.

Also, skip the theme. Themes are for proms, not weddings. Your wedding is about you and your husband and your love and commitment to one another. Focus on that.

When I saw this I immediately thought of Prince. He has a great song called 7. Probably not exactly what you had in mind for wedding music but there are a plethora of Prince through the ages costumes folks could come up with and all the "related artists" and girlfriends could be interesting too.

ra=morris day and the time, the family, vanity 6, apollonia 6, sheena easton (i think i'm spelling that wrong) and a host of other folks

Gifts could be little purple things or copies of your favorite Prince songs on cd.

Not sure how many are wedding-appropriate.

Anyone know what a 7-sided shape is called? A septet? Maybe have the wedding favors in unique-shaped tins or boxes?? Heh, learn origami?

Maybe a 7-days-of-the-week theme? Just brainstorming...

i could supply each and every table a "solid success" topic. The Rabbit's Foot table, Horse Shoe table, 4 Leaf Clover table, and so on. Then whilst your visitors are given their seating assignments, Aunt Mary might properly be seated on the fortunate Penny table. Wrap each and every corresponding merchandise for the table and place it on the area placing as a choose. you will be able to additionally affix it to a card commemorating your special day! save the 7-7-07 table for the Bride and Groom, although!

Besides the aforementioned 7 wonders of the world, the movie Seven (or Se7en), and James Bond, I might suggest 7Up, the drink. You could make a punch with it. Good luck charms (ie horseshoes, clovers, rabbits' feet) would make a nice touch.

A 7-sided shape is called a septagon. Have someone you know make origami boxes and fill them with some sort of candy. We had personalized M&Ms at ours, we had origami hexagonal boxes that my husband made. Our M&Ms had our names, but yours could have the date, or both. Check out the M&M site to see what you can do. Congrats, and good luck!
