I find that is a common problem in the Abrahamic religions. Virtually every alpha-personality in the various sects has a tendency to equate their opinions with "God/Allah's".

Hate or fear homosexuals because they're different? Dig around until you find the quoation you want and presto! Instant sermon.

Hate or fear religions/people different from your own? Dig around in your book until you find a lot of stuff describe "God's Chosen" and ascribe those descriptions to your group! Presto! Instant justification!

Hate or fear any information contradicting your favorite dogma? Dig in your book until you find quotes about deceptions and who they are created by. Presto! Instant anti-science!

Hate or fear any new ideas not in your book? Dig around until you find quotes about "false prophets". Presto! Instant stonewall!

Hate or fear that other religions besides your own might be getting equal consideration or perks? Dig in your holy book for quotes about persecution and presto! Instant faux-victim status!

Hate or fear that someone is questioning you or standing up to your assertions? Dig through your holy book for quotes about how some thing or another is a "light of truth" or similar descriptive. Presto! Instant justification!

Love a particular cause or political stance? Dig through your holy book until you find some quotes that may or may not have anything to do with it and Presto! Instant vindication!

Caught doing something you shouldn't? Dig through your holy book again and find something that sounds like support for your actions and Presto! Instant justification!

All in "God/Allah's" own words, yet! It's the greatest set of excuses in the world for the worst behavior!

Answer to the main question: Because people are too lazy to read the bible and REALLY find out what God likes and dislikes for themselves.
Answer to the second question: God is not a respecter of persons. ('Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons'-Acts 10-34) He doesn't favor one more than another, but loves all of us...not what we do, but loves us just the same. Also, he tells us not to judge ('krino'=condemn), but to discern (judge with wisdom)

Well, if they are referring to sins such as mentioned in Romans 1:28-32, then that's why they say their dislikes are the same as God's. The bible tells us what God dislikes, which is sin of any kind: murder, rape, theft, drunkenness, maliciousness, idolatry, adultery, lying, deceit, envy, homosexuality, etc. - and the list goes on. That is why they say that their dislikes are God's dislikes. If those people are referring to sin, than it's obvious that that's the reason they say that. If they are going according to the bible as to God's dislikes and their dislikes are, then they're right in justifying themselves with what they say. If they're not referencing the bible as to their dislikes and God's dislikes, then they're just spewing out hot air - that's all.

Personally, I think God dislikes people who base their whole worldview around imaginary deities in the sky.

People are sadly human and they try to justify their actions but saying that they are doing "Gods work" The fact is no human has the right to judge another human only God can do that.

You have that backwards. Those who live Godly in Christ Jesus have the mind of Christ and therefore, the more time they spend with Him the more like Him they become. With a desire to please God and hearts turned towards heaven's eternal goal, we understand that what God dislikes (all sins plainly listed in the Bible and every single one is covered between the covers of this book) will keep souls from enjoying true felloship with Him whether it is ours, our loved ones or our friends or strangers who are committing them. God judges sin and tells us what sin is.
The only partial bit of truth in your second question is that the Lord Jesus dislikes the person who teaches truth and doesn't live it like the Pharisees (hypocrites, vipers, full of dead men's bones, unwilling to lift a little finger, shutting men up from the kingdom of heaven, etc.) as compared to those He saved and healed and justified like the publican He used for an example of who went to their house more justified because the publicans prayer was a penitant admission of his guilty state "Lord, be merciful to me a sinner" and showed humility as well.
Jesus said the harlots had more chance to enter into heaven than those religious leaders who claimed Jesus cast out devils through the power of the devil which resulted in Jesus explaining to us what blasphemy of the Holy Ghost is and that it will never be forgiven.
God instructs His people to discern what sin is and not to fellowship those who are wolves in sheep's clothing. He instructs His children to judge civil matters among believers and avoid the court systems of the world. Out of the abundance of the heart man speaks and bitter and sweet waters don't flow from the same well. The Word says "ye shall know them by their fruits". That's how we know who our spiritual friends or foes are. We are to guard the faith and spread the truth. I suppose you think John the Babtist shouldn't have judged Herod for being in adultery with his brother's wife? I suppose he could have kept his head but his reward is great and I shudder to think what hers is who was the guilty adulteress in that scenario. I suppose if Jesus hadn't preached the truth that he was the Messiah, the Christ, the Son of God he wouldn't have been put to death either. But He did judge and reprove the world of sin because they are condemned already who deny Jesus Christ as their redeemer for sins. I suppose you think Stephen should not have preached the truth and judged the people for their sins the way he did? Well, if he hadn't, we wouldn't know his story. Yes, he was stoned to death for telling folks what God dislikes and what their fate would be if they didn't repent. Jesus actually STOOD UP from His throne in Heaven to welcome him home. Guess what else? One of those witnesses who was holding the coats of some of the religious leaders of that day who were casting those stones that took Stephen's life (I'm sure other sinners were there as well) was saved and his name was Saul changed to Paul and what a marvelous convert this former Christian hater, murderer, persecutor and chiefest of sinners became!!
I think the message of God's truth about sin pleases God. It certainly gets results and that is changed lives who are free from the bondage of sin and the wrath of God when they come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Lives are restored, made whole again, healed, forgiven, broken hearts mended, hope is gained where there was no hope before. Yes, I think God respects those who are not cowards in His army!! They will have their reward the same as the unjust man who refuses Christ will have his.

God is an invention of man, made in his image, and if man dislikes something, he can project that onto to his finest creation.

Who are you to judge us by trying to put words in our mouth and change what we say. There are not any groups of people that we dislike. There are certain actions that we disagree with because God says they are wrong.Do you think God would be prouder of us if we lied to people and told them their actions were okay?

As long as the Bible calls it sin or an abomination unto the L-rd, I feel pretty secure that it is G-d's dislikes.

To love the L-rd is to hate evil.
