my question was simplified above. My question is: Within the last century how many blacks <- political term? came to america by plane or boat or whatever like visiting non citizens or just people who are trying to obtain a citizen. What is the percent of blacks that came here on their own free will from africa, not talking about the uk countries, but the africa. I want to know how many percent came that way as opose to being shipped here through slavery.

I don't know the numbers but the number of black Africans who have traveled to the USA is probably great. I lived in DC as a kid and there were a lot of them, especially around the Universities. In the latter part of the last century I would imagine a huge influx due to civil and political unrest in many African nations trying to find footing after centuries of being crushed under Europes tyranny.
I bet a lot more have come from the Caribbean and other slave colonies though.

More would if they could but Spain is a lot closer. I think I saw that last year 9000 from Africa won green cards in the lottery which means they and their spouses and minor children got green cards. For some reason I'm remembering that 40,000 Africans entered, but that might be wrong. I have no idea how many more came on family immigration etc. You might be able to google it.

correction African American is the political term to call Blacks?
slavery ended in 1865 so your within past 100 make no sense!!!
most til this day come here legal
black population is 32 million in USA i say under 10 million came here by free will.

Blacks huh....not all black people are from Africa...(of course you wouldnt know that because you are one sided...) You have individuals from the west indies, cuba, brazil...so....your point would be...if you are dark skinned you MUST be from Africa...so what the hell is your point because I dont get it....if you wrote in a term that educated individuals can understand the so call question you got up there...maybe we can help you....

In the last 100 years all of them came to the United States on their own free will. They are Americans unlike the illegal alien invaders from the southern border!
The illegal aliens should not associate themselves with the Blacks or Civil Rights because they had NOTHING to do with it! They just want to take advantage of the Civil Rights movement. The Blacks should kick their butts!
