well, if its the first time your drying your hair, i recommend going to the salon. ask for their hair sampling book and see the color you like. ask for their opinion if you look good in that color. if you do it yourself you might make mistakes and destroying your hair

go to the salon. mess ups in your hair can really suck. alot of kinds that you buy can make your hair have unwanted tones like green or orange. AND if you put those in your hair and mess it up, it is really hard or sometimes impossible for the salon to fix them. in the long run it is alot less expensive and the color will last longer.

What's wrong with black hair? I love balck hair. I vote that you do nothing and leave your hair as it is! Too many people are dieing thier hair, what's wrong with natural hair colors?

Michelle is right. Have a hairstylist help you choose. If not, go to a beauty supply store, and see if they have samples of hair and compare it to your own color.

well let me guess you need to be cute. you could put highlights in your hair to bring it out more and i would go to a pro or have someone else wit experince do it thats how i did my hair and it turned out cute and everyone loved it i dyed my hair blonde though i had brown hair wit blonde/carmel highlights
