The 2007 Mini is going to be different from the mini's out on the road already. The mark 2 Cooper S isn't a lot different to look at but has a larger engine and is turbo charged rather than the original super charger, this gives a larger power output and is alot more tuneable. Just a few factors that may help you decide but at the end of the day the choice of car is yours and dont let anyone else tell you what you should get.

The Park Lane is nothing more than a name for a bunch of extras that you could buy separately. The Cooper S will be a far better car, and probably hold it's value more.

Unless your last unit S Park Lane is a limited production car, I would wait for the newer one. Which ever one is made in smaller numbers will be worth more in the long run and be something special you will be proud of.
