? When I asked this some of the responses were "Do you dress too revealing/wear too much makeup" the answer to that is no, I wear barely enough makeup and my clothes are moderately revealing, I usually wear jeans and a v-neck top. Some guys smile at me, but some guys give me this mean look like they are disgusted by me, like they think I'm ugly or gross-looking or something, when actually I have been told by plenty of people that I am very pretty, and I know by looking at myself that there's nothing wrong with the way I look. Today for instance this guy was driving by me as I was getting my car started, and he glanced at me and then looked at me like he was grossed out. No, it wasn't a "leering look" I've had those before and can tell the difference. It's the look like boys in middle school give girls they don't find pretty. And I wasn't even looking at him! And I've noticed a few times before other guys have given me this look. Would any1 give me some insight into this, pref. guys?

Just because you think you're pretty and a few others tell you you are, that doesn't make it fact. It's not a fact that a person is pretty. It's an opinion. If you don't know these guys who give you these looks, why do you care? They're people you don't know or care about so go on with your day unless you want to spend the rest of your life trying to get everyone on planet earth to smile at you and think you're pretty. That ain't gonna happen so just let it go.

I'm a guy that didn't approach attractive females because I felt that they weren't interested in an average guy like me... I have given the "evil eye" or an odd look because I "think" of some of the things I'd like to do with her or picture myself with her, then realize she wouldn't give me the time of day. That's where the strange glare comes in. Women are often too quiet and unwilling to make the first move. 1. Step out the box if there is a guy you are attracted to. 2. Create or establish the parameters of whats to come. 3. Have fun and make beautiful memories.
Did you ever think... You look sooooooo good that you put men in a state of awe when they see you? Holla back.

Honestly I dont know why that is! I mean if I saw you and you were good looking then I would smile but I dont know why anyone would give you a "leering look". Or maybe they are jealous because their girlfriend doesnt look as good as you! lol. If you are happy the way you look then you shouldnt be bothered about what other people think.

Hun don't worry about it... there's people out there that are gonna think you're pretty and there's some that will think you aren't. It's really not a big deal. Not every guy thinks Pamela Anderson is hott. Alot of them say she wears way too much make-up. For 'the look' they give you... people are really weird these days... who knows what they're thinking. I'd say just blow it off... don't worry about it so much.

I didn't see your other question, but I am wondering if it's all guys from school or just total strangers?
If it's guys from school, maybe it's on account of a rumor!
Otherwise, quit looking and you won't see them.
I don't really like v necks myself. Could be that.

Sounds like you're obsessed with your looks. You also sound like an angry and paranoid person. Do you, perhaps, have a scowl on your face. Or are you showing some emotion (like anger, disgust, dislike) that these guys are just reacting to?

This is another thing you have no control over, You should just let it go. Some guys are jerks and make poor decisions. They may not like you because they feel you are unattainable by them.

If you are very attractive some men will automatically think you are a b i t c h. It's a stereotype and their loss if they think that way of all pretty women.
Don't let it get you down--a guy with confidence won't feel that way.

Maybe that look is actually the look of a deer in the headlights of a car. The guy is probably not there anymore.
