I know steak is one but i want something that doesnt take like any time to cook something you can find in your fridge or something

eggs.u can eat raw,half cook n fully cook eggs.

You don't need anything high protein after a workout. In fact, you're far better off with something high in carbs, some of them complex with perhaps just a BIT of protein. Whole grain cracker or a slice of whole grain bread with a bit of nut butter or a bit of cheese is plenty.

In fact, if you eat a wide variety of foods, it doesn't matter if you are an omnivore, a vegetarian or a vegan, you will get all of the protein that you need, no matter your level of activity. Further, the more that you overdo on protein, the more you risk killing your kidneys.

I buy cans of pre-cooked chicken (98% fat free) and mix it up with a bag of stir fry vegetables. Instead of packaged sauce I use the chicken broth and some Worcestershire with garlic powder and other spices. It's healthy, fast, filling and low cal.
