what is nitrogen used for??? and what is it made of??

nitrogen is an element (like other elements, its made of protons, neutrons and electrons). Nitrogen (N2) is a gas molecule that makes up most of the atmosphere. N is also found in organic macromolecules such as proteins, nucleic acids, and some type of phospholipids, etc.

nitrogen is a chemical element which has the symbol N and atomic number 7. Elemental nitrogen is a colorless, odorless, tasteless and mostly inert diatomic gas at standard conditions, constituting 78.1% by volume of Earth's atmosphere. Nitrogen is a constituent element of all living tissues and amino acids. Many industrially important compounds, such as ammonia, nitric acid, and cyanides, contain nitrogen.

2.Used by the electronic industry
3. Used in stainless steel and other steel products
4. Used as a refrigerant both for the freezing of food and for transportation of foods
5.Liquid nitrogen is used by the oil industry to build up pressure in wells to force oil upward
6. Used as an atmosphere in tanks of explosive liquid storage tanks, both in ground- based tanks and in ships.
