Hi my Wedding Colours are Espresso Brown and Robin Egg Blue!
I thought this was a great combination.
But now I have been reading that today's brown weddings are like the 70's ruffled shirts!

Any thoughts - it is not too late to change!

Brown is a very popular color right now. You see it in all the bridal magazines. You can do some beautiful things with it. If you like brown you should use brown.

P.S. In a year or two those 70's ruffled shirts will be back in style!

Go with what makes you happy! The brown and blue combination is very IN right now. I like it a lot. It can look really classy.
Who cares if its out of style years from now. Wedding color ideas and decor change so often. If its what you like, I say go for it.

Who cares what you read... if you like the colors, use them. They look great together, and dark brown looks good on most people anyway, so your bridesmaids should like it too! It's not going to look tacky like a 70s ruffled shirt unless it's ON a 70s ruffled shirt.

what makes a difference is the style of the dressesand tuxes...these colours could probably be quite lovely if you have a nice design...and they could make you cringe every time you look at the pictures if you get the wrong one - especially those 70's ruffle shirts...
put some time into the design and keep the colours if they are what you want...

That color combo is very in right now. I have seen bridesmaids dresses in those colors and they are really pretty. My only concern is, will it stand the test of time. In other words, five years down the line will you be thinking "Why didn't somebody stop me?!" You are really the only one who can answer that question. Some colors are trendy, and some will always be classics. I say if you and your bridesmaids are happy with it, go for it. If nothing else, 5 years from now you will be remembered for taking a risk!

Why don't you try adding a nice, orignal pink? That would mix things up. And everyone that I know think that pink and brown look really cute together. Besides, it's your wedding. It doesn't matter if the fashion magazines say it's cool or not, you decided.

brown is kind of bland... with the robin egg blue your pix will look like a birds nest! Go with a soft taupe/beige or pale lemon with the blue dresses and use a mixed colored floral arrangement.

I'm totally down for Brown! But Brown and Blue??????? Why not like brown and off white, if you wanna get a fancy name call it vanilla? I just bought a pair of Brown And Vanilla Christian Dior Sneakers, and OMG talk about the the most amazing color combination ever. Look at the shoes, and you will then see what I mean.
