It's either what she's eating, bad teeth, or a combination of both.

Try Natural Balance, Canidae, Wellness, or Innova. All are excellent foods.

You might want to have the vet check her teeth and gums next time you're there too.

One word..... Greenies

Petco, Petsmart, and other leading pet stores have these great breath savers that remove decay and foul smells from your dogs breath. They're a hard dog biscuits. You only give your dog 1 a week to keep the bad breath away. lol

Check out this website to see more on Greenies...

Have you checked her teeth?

I have a 6 year old pomeranian cross. Her breath just stank. In speaking with her vet, they said it was tooth decay. I had her teeth cleaned and it did clear up the problem.

A year later her breath smells again. I feed her dental food and brush her teeth with my finger at night but I'm afraid she may need cleaning again. It's not cheap but it isn't cheap when us humans go to the dentist either.

Good luck...

She needs a tooth cleaning asap. Peridontal disease can lead to a host of other serious problems!
There are oral hygeine products that you can use to keep your dog's teeth clean after you get them profesionally cleaned (link below)
And I'd stay away from Greenies. My dog loved them, but started vomiting after eating one, and it came up in undigested bits. He had terrible stomach drama for the whole next day. Not worth the risk, IMHO!

The doggie might have some cavities or she might need her teeth cleaned.
